Robin and Sue Benson enjoy meeting and welcoming guests to their home. Sue is the cook and Robin the butler! If he is not too busy with his garden design business. We pride ourselves on offering the very best to our guests, a warm welcome, comfortable rooms, 1 double room with en-suite bathroom, and a twin bedded room with private bathroom, crisp cotton bed linen, fresh flowers, guests' own drawing room to relax in with a real fire, television if you wish to catch up on the news!, board games, reference books, maps and local magazines, separate dining room for the delicious breakfasts, fine table linen, silver cutlery, family portraits, paintings and fine furniture. There are no internet facilities and be warned! - mobile phone signals can be a bit of a nightmare! But the peace and tranquillity help all unwind.

Our breakfasts are taken in the separate dining room round a large table. There are many choices, and as much as possible is home produced or locally sought and bought. We are proud to belong to 'Local to Ludlow' which encourages all to buy locally produced ingredients. You can choose what time you would like breakfast and enjoy a relaxed start to the day.

We welcome walkers and cyclists and are happy to dry out-door clothes and muddy boots (the Aga is wonderful for this) lock up bicycles, help with routes, provide packed lunches (providing we have fair warning!) And welcome you with a good pot of tea and home made cakes. We can organize cycle hire locally. There are miles of quiet lanes, tracks and trails to explore - Offa's Dyke Path, the Mortimer Trail, walks along the River Teme, and the newly opened Herefordshire Way are all on our doorstep. For the more energetic there are national standard mountain biking race tracks in Hopton Woods about 5 miles away and the Mortimer Forest near Ludlow. There are many varying activity centres in the area all taking place in the stunning, unspoilt scenery.

For the less energetic there are wonderful castles, churches, historic houses, delightful gardens and quaint market towns with fascinating antique, book, specialist food shops with no giant chain stores taking over the high street! There are local breweries, vineyards, artisan bakers and butchers, Farmers' Markets, food festivals, beer festivals, concerts, plays, craftsmen and artists - plenty to do! You can also just relax in the garden providing the weather is kind and you don't mind a deaf dalmatian called Basil sitting by you!

There are no rules except No Smoking in the house. We treat everyone as our house guests and are here to make your stay the best. We hope to greet you in the near future.
